The COVID-19 has shifted our lives completely- from social distancing to mandatory face masks. This has somewhat become the new norm to which we adapted.
Recently, some of the countries in Europe, such as France, UK, Germany and Spain have announced another lockdown in order to halt the spread of the global pandemic. Fortunately, for those who live in Dubai, the situation is less critical. The city is welcoming back tourists, the residents can go to work (although some companies still practice the zoom conference calls) enjoy restaurants, bars and gyms. As for the event industry, slowly but steadily it's making a comeback.
La Vida Furniture, inspired by modern and contemporary designs, has transformed the way people shop for furniture. Combining concepts of mindfully crafted items, longevity with a service of customization from fabrics, patterns to the smallest details. We took the liberty to sponsor and present not only it’s products, but the people behind the company during Dubai Fashion Avenue 2020- an event where fashion and design meet. The avenue was located in Al Habtoor Palace from the 4th to 7th of November.
As soon as you walk past the grand columns of the hotel, La Vida’s booth immediately caught the eye with its bold golden logo. The star of the show was the most gorgeous chair with bright pink flowers surrounding it from all sides. This created an illusion of a heavenly garden that you only see in fairy tales. No one could resist passing by without taking a few pictures and honestly, we couldn’t either.
The products displayed were a dark beige Albero sofa and two beautiful brown armchairs from the same collection with a gold detailing. To bring a luxurious feel, we matched together our Madame console and center table. Finally, the Lario dining table and chairs with a custom-made glass table top inspired by the countryside brought the complete display all together. The culmination of the space was the beautiful handcrafted decorations such as wine glasses, trays and coasters with shades of aquamarine with an effect of scattered gem stones.
But wait, that can’t be all, can it? Absolutely not. To each attendee, we offered goodie bags with La Vida logo face masks with a super soft fabric to those who are fed up of wearing boring masks (and yes, we understand the importance of face masks nowadays), discount coupons for your next purchase and some other surprises.
The event was plentiful entertaining- fashion shows of locale and international designers, a speech of our managing director, Jalal Al Halabi, show performers, concerts and the attendance of Sheikh Saeed bin Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.
From warm conversations over coffee with the team to Instagram-worthy displays, this event was a must place to visit. We are thankful for everyone who stopped by. If you didn’t have a chance to attend the event this year, no worries, we will see you next year.
We love creating unforgettable memories with you so don’t forget to download your images here.
